EXECUTIVE PROFILES


Kevin Santiago, Founder and CEO


Kevin is a proven leader in the Internet industry. Kevin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Brigham Young University (BYU) and a Juris Doctorate from BYU’s J. Reuben Clark Law School. Kevin’s past leadership positions include Executive Vice President of TurboWave, Inc., founder and President of Onbravo, LLC, and President and CEO of BroadBand Solutions, LLC, all pioneers in the wireless ISP industry. He takes the same competitive drive and leadership skills he used as a starting point guard for BYU’s varsity basketball team and applies them successfully to business. Kevin has assembled a team of exceptional individuals, each of whom brings a strong set of complementary skills to the Company.


Brent Nixon, President


Brent has over 10 years of product management and operation experience within the technology industry. Prior to joining Cymphonix he was most recently the Director of Product Management for 3Com’s Wireless Systems product line. During his 6 ½ years at 3Com he managed a variety of product lines and was 3Com’s Board of Director and Marketing Committee Representative on the Bluetooth SIG and Chair of the Mobile Work Group for the Audio Communications Riser (ACR) SIG. Prior to 3Com, Brent was co-founder and Vice President of Maxis Research Inc., a market research/information company offering information and data products and services to the automotive industry. Brent earned his MBA from University of British Columbia as well as a Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah.


Dave Reardon, Vice President of Sales

Dave joined Cymphonix as Vice President of Sales in May of 2008 and brings 14 years of sales experience to the company.  Prior to joining Cymphonix, Dave was managing Global Alliances and Partnerships for Dell’s Software as a Service organization, where he helped to launch Dell’s IT as a Service platform in North America.  Dave joined Dell in 2007, through the acquisition of Everdeam Corporation where he was Director of Partnerships and Global Alliances. His leadership managing partnerships with top IT Service providers throughout the world, contributed significantly to Dell’s acquisition of the company in late 2007.  Previous to Dell/Everdream, Dave was responsible for building channel strategy and programs at FrontRange Solutions.  He was also the Director of Sales at CHG Companies, a healthcare services company, and National Sales Manager at 3Com Corporation, where Dave led the sales efforts through 3Com’s channel sales team.  Dave has global sales management experience including direct and indirect sales, field and inside sales, strategic partnerships, services, business development, marketing, people development and full P&L responsibilities.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah and a Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University.



Trevor Paskett, Director of Engineering

Trevor is the primary developer of the application code for Network Composer. Trevor is a Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) and a Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA). Trevor is an exceptional programmer who is proficient in Perl, C, Delphi, Pascal, Bash, SQL, and XML. Trevor has been involved in the ISP industry since the age of 16, when he started his own ISP. He built his own server banks from scratch and grew his ISP to a customer base of 5,600 subscribers. After selling his ISP, Trevor worked as Senior Engineer at Onbravo, LLC and then BroadBand Solutions, LLC. Trevor’s years of experience managing bandwidth in the ISP industry have formed the foundation for Network Composer.


Joe Lowry, Director of Channel Development


Joe brings over 10 years of channel sales and territory management experience to Cymphonix. His leadership experience ranges from running a team of Sales Engineers to serving as Director of Sales. He has created channel programs and tools in the Telecom and Network Technology markets, building partner feedback forums and visiting hundreds of Channel partners in the field. Always looking and listening to the partners on the front lines allows Joe to provide valuable feedback to engineering and sales alike. Often tapped to present to large groups or industry analysts, he shares his insights and product knowledge with great effectiveness. Joe worked with Kevin and Trevor at Broadband solutions and was invited to join the team at Cymphonix


Dave Neuenschwander, Director of Strategic Accounts

Dave has successfully held sales and management positions for the last 20 years in some of the world's top companies like Procter & Gamble, Hewlett Packard and Siebel Systems. After graduating from the University of Utah, Dave has been successful with both direct and indirect sales models domestically and internationally. Dave has personally sold, and led sales teams, managing major account relationships in retail, hospitality, consumer goods, and automotive. Acknowledged as a top performer, Dave has consistently held leadership positions in programs like the CEO Circle influencing long lead time initiatives and strategies. Cymphonix has benefited from Dave's ability to leverage his years of sales success with top companies to accelerate Cymphonix's growth and success.


Mitch Weight, Director of Marketing

Mitch Weight, has 9 years of sales, marketing and branding experience with a range of seasoned and start up brands. Most recently Mitch developed and managed a successful inside sales strategy for networking giant Cisco Systems, Inc., with processes that generated over $500M within the first year of operation. Prior to Cisco Systems Mitch served as Brand Manager for Jeld-Wen, Inc, a $4B company, and managed internal branding and public relations activities. Mitch served as President and Founder of HandheldPlanet, LLC, a startup venture based out of Orem, UT, and drove the successful exit after two years of profitability to rival Vaja, S.A.. Mitch’s other past leadership positions include Regional Marketing Manager, PROMODEL Corporation, responsible for international sales for Canada and Latin America, and Channel Marketing Manager for Electronic Business Systems, responsible for driving channel sales through marketing tactics. Mitch has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Utah Valley State College and a Masters of Business Administration from Bridgewater University.


Kent Thomas, CFO

Kent is the founder and managing member of Business & Financial Solutions, a provider of outsourced financial services to small and medium-sized companies in Utah. He has served as CEO or CFO/controller of seven companies since 1980, including a $55 million publicly traded corporation (Marathon Office Supply in Los Angeles, CA), and most recently as the Vice President and CFO of InsurQuote Systems, Inc. Kent started his career in the Salt Lake City office of Ernst & Whinney (currently Ernst & Young) in 1979. Kent is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
